This chapbook explores the impossibilities of an immigrant girl turned hip-hop scholar. In this chapbook, the author (Gretchen Carvajal), unpacks the intersections of her life as a brown girl through short prose, biomythologies, and spoken word poetry that uses both English and her native tongue: Tagalog. The chapbook contains a foreword by Chicago underground Hip-Hop legend, Denizen Kane. This chapbook includes one new poem and was hand printed, with a re-designed cover, and assembled all by the hands of the author.
